Capping a month of strong competition, the GU15 DCST Force bested the Arlington Intensity 2-1 on Sunday, May 31, clinching the 2009 US Youth Soccer President’s Cup in their age bracket for the state of Virginia. The President’s Cup is a state, regional and national contest for travel teams. The Force is the first DC Stoddert Soccer women’s team in memory to win a statewide competition.
